Art of Hosting I recently partnered with an amazing local team to offer the Berkana Institute's Art of Hosting in Calgary. Of the multitude of ideas, processes and tools offered in this amazing program, one that constantly inspires me is the need for leaders to shift from "heroes to hosts" by practicing a collaborative leadership style. If you are interested in collaborative leadership, let's talk! Social Media As I partner with my clients, I am exploring the power and value of social media as part of stakeholder engagement. Some recent projects have incorporated Facebook pages and discussions, and promotion of events via Twitter. Coupled with online surveys and interactive websites, barriers of time and place are being minimized. I am proud to say my business is also active in the social media realm.
